Refund and Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 17 September 2026
This policy explains when you can cancel, what you get back, and how to ask. It applies to all services bought from Braymount Global LLC, trading as Dán AI, and forms part of our Terms of Service.
We sell professional services, not physical goods. Nothing is shipped and there is nothing to return.
1. How to cancel or request a refund
Email hello@danaios.com from the address on your invoice, with your invoice number and the reason for the request. That is the only step required — there is no form to complete and no fee to cancel.
We acknowledge every request within two business days and give you a decision within five business days.
2. Monthly plans
Monthly plans, including the Founding client plan, are billed monthly in advance and continue until you cancel.
- Minimum term. The Founding client plan has a 3-month minimum term, because the first month is setup. You may give notice to cancel at any time, and your cancellation takes effect at the end of the minimum term or the current paid month, whichever is later. After the minimum term the plan is month to month. There is no cancellation fee.
- Notice period: cancel at least 7 days before your next billing date and you will not be billed again. Your service continues to the end of the period you have already paid for.
- Cancelling within 7 days of renewal: if you cancel with less than 7 days' notice, the upcoming month is still billed and that month becomes your final month of service. You may use it in full.
- If you are billed after cancelling: if we bill you in error after you have cancelled, we refund that charge in full. Tell us and we will fix it.
- Part-months are not refunded once a month has begun, because the work is scheduled and resourced in advance. The exception is clause 5.
3. Fixed-scope projects
Projects are quoted and scheduled as a block of work, and the schedule is held for you.
- Before work begins: cancel before the kickoff session and you receive a full refund of everything paid, less any third-party costs already committed on your behalf and non-refundable to us. We will have told you about any such cost in advance.
- After work begins: you may cancel at any time. We invoice for work completed and expenses committed up to that date, and refund the balance of what you have paid. We will send you an itemised summary of what was completed so you can see how the figure was reached.
- On completion: once the agreed deliverables have been handed over and accepted, the project fee is not refundable. If a deliverable does not match the agreed scope, clause 4 applies instead.
4. If the work is not right
If a deliverable does not match what was agreed in writing, tell us within 14 days of delivery and we will correct it at no charge. That is our first remedy and it is the one we would rather use.
If we cannot bring the deliverable in line with the agreed scope after a reasonable attempt to do so, we will refund the portion of the fee attributable to that deliverable.
We do not refund for a change of mind about the direction of work that was delivered as agreed and approved, or for a business result that did not materialise. We do not guarantee results — see clause 10 of our Terms of Service.
5. If we cannot deliver
If we cancel an engagement, or cannot deliver for any reason on our side, you receive a full refund of all fees paid for work not yet delivered. This includes any remaining months of a minimum term, which you will not be charged for. This is unconditional and does not depend on notice periods.
6. How refunds are paid
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Card refunds are typically credited within 5–10 business days once issued, depending on your bank. Bank transfer refunds are sent within 5 business days of approval. We do not charge a processing fee on refunds.
7. Chargebacks and disputes
If something has gone wrong, please email us first — we would rather resolve it directly, and clauses 4 and 5 exist for exactly that. If you do raise a dispute with your bank or card issuer, we will respond to it with our records of the engagement and the correspondence between us.
8. Statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits any right you have under the consumer protection law that applies to you, including any statutory cancellation right available to consumers in the United Kingdom, the European Union or elsewhere.
